Caofeidian Wetlands International Golf Club

11 Bohai Avenue (Bo Hai Da Dao), Caofeidian District, Tangshan City, Hebei, China

Caofeidian Wetlands International Golf Club is probably the best choice for anyone looking for a quiet, nature-focused golf course in Hebei. It’s located near Tangshan in the middle of a massive wetland area right by the Bohai Coast. The 18-hole course is designed as a links-style layout, but the real standout feature is the environment it sits inside 80,000 hectares of protected marshland.

The course is long, measuring about 7,288 yards from the championship tees. While the fairways are fairly wide, you have to navigate around a lot of natural ponds and tall reeds. It’s common to see cranes or swans while you’re playing, which adds to the feeling that you’re out in the wild rather than at a resort. Since it’s right on the coast, you get a steady sea breeze that keeps the air fresh, though it does make the longer holes a bit more technical.

As for the facilities, the clubhouse is modern and has the standard locker rooms, a pro shop, and a restaurant. This golf course have a driving range and putting greens if you need to warm up, and carts are available to help cover the distance. If you want to play golf in Hebei but prefer a spot that feels more like a retreat than a busy city club, this is a solid pick. It’s a challenging round of golf, but the atmosphere is very relaxed.
