Hai Duong province in Vietnam is not widely known for golf, but it does offer one golf course, the Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club. This 36-hole golf course is designed by the famous Australian golfer, Greg Norman, and is known for its challenging layout with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. The course is set amidst stunning natural surroundings, including mountains and lakes, and provides a serene and peaceful atmosphere for golfers.
The best time to play golf in Hai Duong is during the cooler months, from November to February, when the weather is dry and temperatures are more comfortable. During the summer months, from May to August, the weather can be hot and humid, which may not be ideal for golfing.
Hai Duong golf courses are popular stopovers for golfers travelling from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay thanks to the premier location. They are also included in many Hanoi golf breaks as golfers can arrive, play golf, and then return to Hanoi within a day.
