Krabi is one of the most breathtaking provinces in Thailand, offering some of the most splendid beaches, scenery and wildlife, which combined, provide some of the most stunning and challenging golf courses in Southern Thailand. These courses range from gentle tree-lined parkland to rugged hillside style with elevated tees and testing links.
Although there are only a few golf courses in Krabi, they are well worth the visit. The first is the 18-hole Pakasai Country Club located about 40km south of Krabi Town in Neua Klong district. Owned by the local electricity board, the course is rated highly by local golfers who enjoy the challenge of its tricky fairways and fast undulating greens, nestled in slightly hilly terrain. There is also a 9-hole course in Klong Muang belonging to the Sofitel Phokeethra Resort, open to outside guests.
Krabi’s only driving range, with practice and chipping greens and a bunker, can be found just outside Krabi Town, on the way north to Phuket. The range is all-weather and boasts picturesque views of the karst mountains.
