Kunming OCT Wind Valley Golf Club is considered to be one of the most unique golf courses in Yunnan. This course is the perfect combination of natural beauty and exquisie design. Located on the lakeside of Yangzonghai Lake, the stadium has two 18-hole layouts designed by Jack Nicklaus and his son, each with its own personality: one extends to the lakeside and the other to the mountainside. This creates a diverse experiecne for gofers that is both challenging and enjoyable.
An interesting place mentioned by many golfers is the 7 par-3 hole on the mountain course. The tea box is placed high, and the ball must pass through the valley and lake to turn green. This is the “nail” hole in the couse, which requires accuracy and brings excitements, especially when the ball is hit successfully. In addition, the long par-5 hole is also designed to encourage adventurous driving, while the wave green challenges the smart thrust.
