Shanghai Yintao Golf Club is a membership course with a strong Australian style, designed by Peter Thomson, a master of golf course design and one of the world’s 50 greatest golfers, who won the British Open Championship five times. It may not be a championship course, but Shanghai Yintao Golf Club offers a simple and enjoyable golfing experience on an interspersed course and benefits from a prime location. It is a cheaper and more accessible alternative to its more exclusive neighbor, Sheshan Golf Club.
Each fairway features dramatic undulations and striking contrasts in contour, fully demonstrating the unique harmony between power and grace inherent in golf. The innovative design of Shanghai Yintao Golf Club eliminates the monotony of flat terrain golf courses. The entire course is interwoven with numerous streams, lakes as well as a beautiful carpet of reeds and water lilies. The club is also equipped with supporting facilities, including a golf driving range, swimming pool, indoor heated pool, massage pool, hot tub, sauna, table tennis and billiards.
