The Dunes at Shenzhou Peninsula West Course is one of the most impressive beachfront courses in Asia. Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Phil Smith, this 18-hole course officially opened in 2010, presenting classic links style with natural dunes, primitive sand beaches, and views of the South China Sea.
Measuring 7,484 yards from the black tees, a par 72, the course has a slope index of 137 and a rating of 75.4, making it suitable for experienced golfers. The course’s design takes full advantage of the coastal terrain, with many holes close to the shore. Especially, golfers will experience a unique and challenging games at holes 8, 16, and 17. The dunes at the Shenzhou Peninsula West Course are highly regarded for their strategy and aesthetics, with wide fairways, sharp bunkers, and natural sand areas interspersed.
