Tianjin Fortune Lake Golf Club is located in the famous Tuanbohu (Fortune Lake) Scenic Area in the southwest of Tianjin City. It is only about a 10-minute drive from Tianjin City Center. Designed by TP Golf Course Design Company owned by famous Australian golf champion Peter Thomson, Tianjin Fortune Lake Golf Club covers an area of over 2,000,000 square meters and features a 36-hole golf course. With a 4,600 square meter clubhouse, driving range, villas, commercial centers and entertainment facilities, and a famous scenic area, Tianjin Fortune Lake Golf Club is not only an ideal golf resort, but also convenient in transportation.
The former A and B golf courses were completed and opened in 2003; then the two golf courses were redesigned and renovated in 2006 and put into use the following year. A lot of trees and grass are added around the fairways, and it is completely different from the links golf course.
Course A and Course B are considered the most challenging golf courses in Tianjin so far. Course C and Course D are newly designed by Peter Thomsom, these are typical links golf courses. The golf course is surrounded by Fortune Lake, Tuanbohu has an area of 51 square kilometers. The fairways are covered with bent grass, reeds and Chinese tamarisk as landscaping. Course C and Course D are considered the best links golf courses in Northern China.
