The Aquella Golf Resort And Country Club is situated along the Andaman Sea at Thai Muang Beach, which is about 40 minutes north of Phuket Airport. This 177-hectare site development plan includes a rejuvenated former Thai Muang Golf Club, hotels, residential villages, sports centers, and shopping complexes. Pacific Coast Design from Australia reconstructed the golf course in 2018, and it opened with an all-new hole routing in 2021.
The current signature hole is the 186-yard par-three eleventh, which offers golfers a magnificent view of the Andaman Sea and the beachfront. The new design follows a few of the former holes’ routing, while many other holes are over the leftover soil from the partially built original marina construction in the 1990s. The Platinum Paspalum grassed track is laid out on flattish terrain and offers challenges for both high and low handicappers.
