5 Days Phu Quoc Oasis Golf Tours is not your average island golf tour. Vietnam’s largest island sits in the Gulf of Thailand with over 150 km of coastline, and…
Vietnam has over 3,200 km of coastline, and some of the country’s best golf happens right along it. Our Vietnam coastal golf tours take you to seaside courses where ocean breezes shape every shot, from the Greg Norman-designed links at BRG Da Nang to the clifftop holes at The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip.
Most of these coastal golf courses sit within minutes of the beach. In Da Nang, you can tee off at Montgomerie Links or Hoiana Shores in the morning and be at My Khe Beach by lunch. In Nha Trang, Diamond Bay Golf & Villas runs right along the shoreline, and Vinpearl Golf sits on its own island in one of the country’s most photographed bays. Further south, The Bluffs at Ho Tram gives you 40-meter elevation drops and wind that shifts 180 degrees depending on the season.
What makes a seaside golf tour in Vietnam different from, say, Thailand or the Philippines? Price, for one. Green fees at top coastal golf resorts here run 30-50% lower than comparable courses in the region. The food is another thing entirely, fresh seafood pulled from the water that morning, served at beachfront restaurants after your round.
We handle tee times, transfers between courses, and coastal resort bookings. Every tour is adjustable: add extra rounds, swap a golf day for sightseeing in Hoi An, or extend south to Phu Quoc. GolfLux has operated golf tours across Vietnam since 2011, and our local team knows these courses personally.

You can play year-round, but timing depends on the region. Northern coast (Ha Long, Hai Phong) is best from October to April when it’s dry and cooler. Central Vietnam (Da Nang, Hoi An, Quy Nhon) is driest from January to August. Southern coastal areas like Ho Tram and Phu Quoc have dry weather from November through April.

The courses golfers ask about most: FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club and Tuan Chau Golf Resort in the north, BRG Da Nang Golf Club (Greg Norman links), Montgomerie Links, Hoiana Shores Golf Club in the center, The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip in the south, and Diamond Bay Golf & Villas in Nha Trang. Each has a different character. BRG Da Nang plays fast and firm like a Scottish links. The Bluffs is more dramatic with its cliff-edge holes. Tuan Chau gives you bay views from nearly every hole. Diamond Bay is the one where you’re literally hitting beside the ocean.

That depends on where you are. In Ha Long, a bay cruise is the obvious choice, and Tuan Chau Island has its own beach and entertainment area. In Da Nang, the beaches and Hoi An’s old town are close by. Nha Trang has island-hopping boat trips, hot springs at I-Resort, and a well-known seafood scene. Ho Tram is quieter, good for spa time at the resort. Quy Nhon has some of Vietnam’s most uncrowded beaches if you want something less touristy.

A popular route runs north to south: fly into Hanoi, play FLC Ha Long Bay with a bay cruise, then fly to Da Nang for 2-3 rounds at BRG Da Nang, Montgomerie Links, or Hoiana Shores (with a day trip to Hoi An). From there, fly to Nha Trang or Ho Chi Minh City and add The Bluffs Ho Tram or Diamond Bay. Domestic flights between these cities take 1-1.5 hours and run multiple times daily. We can also reverse the route or focus on just one region if your schedule is shorter.
