Located on the edge of the Asian Games Village, Beijing Beichen Golf Club is the first golf club in downtown Beijing. The club was designed by Peter Thomson, who won the British Open for five years. The club features an 18-hole international standard course with 7,040 yards of fairways, par 72, including nine holes illuminated at night. The club also has a luxurious 7,000 square meter clubhouse, indoor tennis courts and a two-tiered 60-hole driving range.
Beijing Beichen Golf Club features undulating fairways, bunkers and water hazards that are strategically placed, requiring players to choose their clubs wisely and manage the course carefully. The use of cool-season hybrid grasses on the fairways and bentgrass on the greens ensures excellent playing conditions all year round, with fast and accurate putting surfaces that are pleasant to play on.
