Designed by Don Serafin Teves and Simplicio Manictic in 1945, this 18-hole par 72 golf course features gliding fairways and is graced by the presence of majestic 50-year-old mango trees. It holds the distinction of being one of the earliest golf courses built in the country.
Strategically situated just outside Dumaguete City, the golf club not only treats players to a beautifully landscaped course but also provides stunning views of the naturally rolling terrain with a slope of 119. The panoramic vistas of Cebu, Siquijor, and Sumilon Island, along with the renowned Tañon Strait, add to the golfing experience.
The Dumaguete Golf and Country Club caters to players’ needs with a range of facilities, including a driving range, pro shop, salon and spa, and a swimming pool. Travelers can easily access Dumaguete through Philippine Airlines, with 14 weekly flights between Manila and Dumaguete, or Cebu Pacific’s daily morning flights. Air travel takes merely an hour and 10 minutes. Alternatively, sea travel options include ships from Manila, taking 36 hours, or faster ferry craft from Cebu City, reaching Dumaguete in four hours.
