The Els Club Teluk Datai, situated on the mystical island of Langkawi, is renowned for its spectacular vistas of marbled mountain peaks, virgin rainforest and the emerald green Andaman Sea. Designed by golf legend Ernie Els, the 18-hole 6,750-yard championship course is located within Teluk Datai (Datai Bay).
The Els Club Teluk Datai is accessible by road ( 4 hours from Kuala Lumpur via the North-South Expressway), by air (45 minutes flight from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi International Airport, followed by a 30 minute scenic drive to Els Club Teluk Datai) and by sea (1 hour 45 minute ferry ride from Kuala Kedah to Kuah Ferry Terminal followed by a 50 minute scenic drive to Els Club Teluk Datai).
