Jagorawi Golf Country Club is by far Indonesia’s most reputed. Jagorawi Golf Country Club is the only golf club in the country that offers 45 holes of championship golf. While the Old Course is the jewel in the crown of Indonesian golf and can stand any form of competition with reputed golf courses anywhere in the world, the New course, twice the venue of the Indonesian Open, is more open and wide. Designed by the same tandem Thomson and Wolveridge, with the New course both gentlemen were able to create an equally interesting but yet different layout than the Old course.
The Z-Nine was created by Jagorawi’s owner and founder Zakir. In close cooperation with USA native and course designer par-excellence Max Wexler, the Z-Nine probably is the most challenging 9-hole course you can play in Indonesia. Nine terrific holes snake through the Cikeas River Valley where a minimum of earth was moved to create this little devil. Nature was maintained in its purest form and decade old trees were incorporated in the design.
