Keningau Golf And Country Club, located just outside the town of Keningau in the Malaysian state of Sabah, is a well-known parkland course that has been entertaining golfers since it opened its doors in 1966. The town of Keningau is famous for its farming of spice, cinnamon, and the course is situated at around 1,000 feet above sea level.

With its rolling hills, creeks, and forest trees, Keningau Golf And Country Club provides a relatively cool game of golf. The course, which is 6,004 meters in length, features undulating fairways and water hazards in the form of creeks and ponds, providing a challenging round for golfers of all levels.

During the period of 1985 to 1987, the world-renowned professional golfer, Vijay Singh, served as the resident professional at the club. He made several improvements to enhance the appeal of the course for both local and visiting golfers. Vijay Singh went on to become the world’s number-one golfer in 2004, and his contributions to Keningau Golf & Country Club remain an important part of its history.

In addition to the course, the club also offers excellent facilities such as a swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, as well as a snack bar and lounge. Keningau Golf And Country Club is a welcoming and friendly member golf club, and its beautiful setting only adds to its charm.
