Located in Lapu Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines, Mactan Island Golf Club is a bit small-scale but a worth-trying golf course. It is on the coral island of Mactan and very close to the international airport. This club attracts an emerging number of tourists nowadays thanks to the prime location and beautiful landscapes.
Arriving at Mactan Island Golf Club, visitors will be satisfied by both golf challenges and stunning natural landscapes. The fairways are relatively tight, but fortunately, the whole course is quite flat. Sand traps and water hazards set up around the greens will add more difficulties to the game. Be watch of the coral stones in some holes because they can make your swings go wrong.
Mactan Island Golf Club’s clubhouse has been upgraded currently. The management board has added modern facilities to accommodate players, such as a driving range, putting green, restaurant, bar, pro shop, locker and shower rooms, etc.
Mactan Island Golf Club is open to the public, so it is very crowded, especially at weekends. You are advised to make a reservation to guarantee tee time. You can also connect with GolfLux for tee time checks and book golf tours.
