Located next to Shanghai Pudong International Airport, on the estuary where the majestic Yangtze River flows into the South China Sea, Shanghai Dongzhuang Beach Golf Club offers its members two contrasting 18-hole layouts. With its unique geographical advantages, excellent course design and maintenance, the course has attracted many golfers since its opening and has also become another Rookie of Shanghai and Asia. Shanghai Dongzhuang Beach Golf Club consists of Dongzhuang Clubhouse and 2 inner courses: Parkland Course and Linksland Course.
- Dongzhuang Beach Clubhouse was designed by the world-renowned Thai architectural design team KTGY. The total area of the clubhouse is more than 16,000 square meters, including three interconnected clubhouses. The main clubhouse is designed and built in combination with traditional Chinese and Western architectural styles like a flying phoenix symbolizing good fortune.
- Parkland Course: This course is famous for its challenge, ingeniously incorporating natural landscapes into each teeing area and green by arranging various types of ornamental plants, forming three-dimensional obstacles much larger than bunkers, increasing the difficulty of hitting the ball as well as the challenge and enjoyment.
- Linksland Course: Designed by Kelly’Lysak, Linksland Golf Course is an uncommon links-style golf course in Shanghai facing the sea. Traditional-style bunkers are located throughout the golf course, and knee-length grass and flowers along both sides of the fairway, showing the design style of the classic Links course, completely preserving the original appearance of the land.
