Shenzhen Noble Merchant Golf Club

111 Shahe E Rd, Nanshan, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China

Shenzhen Noble Merchant Golf Club was designed in accordance with international standards as an 18-hole lighting golf course. It officially opened on June 28th, 1996, and is situated on the banks of Shenzhen Bay, in a prime location along Shennan Boulevard.

Covering an expansive area of 500,000 square meters, Shenzhen Noble Merchant Golf Club was meticulously designed by Les Watts, a renowned Australian architect. The course embodies a perfect blend of natural beauty and challenge, with a harmonious integration of hills, water features, and greens. The surroundings are pleasant and offer a serene environment, making it a highly desirable golfing destination in China.

Shenzhen Noble Merchant Golf Club features a standard 18-hole course with a par of 72 and total fairway yardage of 986. Notably, holes 7, 17, and 18 are particularly special. Hole 7 is a short yet picturesque hole, measuring 132 yards in length. The green is surrounded by water, with bunkers positioned in front. Successfully teeing off onto the green requires precision in distance, direction, and accuracy.

Another standout hole is the challenging Howe, a par-5 hole measuring 525 yards. It presents obstacles at every turn, including a 100-yard pool that players must navigate during their second stroke. Success in this stroke brings the excitement of strategic play and showcases the essence of lob striking.

The back nine holes provide a test for professional golfers, featuring deliberately designed greens, water hazards, and sand dunes that form a formidable defense line. Careful play is essential to avoid pitfalls and navigate the course successfully.

One of Shenzhen Noble Merchant Golf Club’s key advantages is its comprehensive lighting system, allowing members to enjoy golfing comfortably and conveniently even during the nighttime. Additionally, players can utilize the driving range for practice and relaxation. Two full-time coaches are available to offer guidance and assistance. The course also features special 3-D mirrors to aid players in self-examination and improvement.
