Veterans Golf Club

Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines

Veterans Golf Club (also known as Veterans Memorial Golf Course), established in 1958, is a relatively compact 18-hole golf course with challenging and enjoyable nature, attributed to its narrow fairways, small greens, numerous hazards, imposing Molave trees, and dog-legs.

Of all the holes, the seventh stands out as the signature hole. This is mainly because the entire fairway is bordered by water hazards, posing a significant challenge even for the most skilled golfers. Keeping the ball on the narrow fairway and avoiding both rough patches and the water itself requires considerable skill and precision.

If you’re searching for an affordable golf course within the city, the Veterans Golf Course stands as one of the top choices. In addition to golfing facilities, they offer various amenities such as a restaurant, coffee shop, spa, barber shop, banquet hall, meeting room, and tennis court.

Expect a laid-back round of golf at this Par 72 Veterans Golf Club, as the design and terrain lack dramatic features. Most holes are straight, but the challenges increase as the fairways narrow along the way. To get the ball back in play, players often find themselves maneuvering around the tall Molave trees flanking the fairways. Although the course is relatively short, the water hazards protecting the Par 5 greens make players think twice before attempting to reach them in two shots. As if to ensure the course remains far from easy, the seventh hole, a par four, has been designated as one of the course’s standout challenges. This reachable hole measures just under 250 yards.
