Play two rounds at FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links, including the scenic Ocean Course beside the coastline and the elevated Mountain Course overlooking the bay.

Quy Nhon sits on Vietnam’s central coast, about 10 kilometers north of where the coastal highway bends inland. The area gets less foreign traffic than Da Nang or Nha Trang, which means quieter beaches and less crowded tee times.

This 5-day tour gives you two rounds at FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links. The Ocean Course runs along the coastline with several holes that play directly beside the water. Wind picks up in the afternoon, so morning tee times are easier. The Mountain Course sits inland with elevation changes and views back toward the bay. Both courses were designed by Nicklaus Design and opened in 2016.

Between rounds, there’s a full free day. Most people use it for the beach or the resort pool. Quy Nhon town has a fishing port and a few local seafood restaurants worth trying. The Twin Towers (Thap Doi Cham) are about 20 minutes away if you want to see 12th-century Cham architecture.

Accommodation is at FLC Luxury Resort Quy Nhon, which sits on the property. Breakfast is included daily. Airport transfers from Phu Cat Airport (about 35 kilometers away) are arranged. The tour works well for golfers who want coastal golf without the higher prices you’d pay further north or south.

Day 1: Quy Nhon arrival

Our guide and driver will pick you up from the airport upon your arrival. You will then be taken to the hotel in Quy Nhon City to rest.

Day 2: Golf at FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links (Ocean Course) (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Quy Nhon Golf Links for a day of golfing.

FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links offers 36 holes of championship golf, including the Nicklaus-designed Ocean Course and the Schmidt Curley-designed Mountain Course. Each offers its style and challenges. The entire facility is part of a massive seaside resort complex located 45 minutes form the Quy Nhon airport and 30 minutes away form Quy Nhon Town.

The 7,273 yard, par-72 Nicklaus designed Ocean Course is as challenging as any in Vietnam, if not all Asia. Extremely tight fairways and small landing areas put a premium on driving accuracy. Keep out of the pine straw waste areas, and low scores are typical on most holes. Stray off the fairway, and a double bogey or worse is almost guaranteed.

Day 4: Play at FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links (Mountain Course) (B)

After breakfast, transfer to FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links for a day of golfing.

Designed by Brain Curley, the Mountain Course at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon has been built on a sand-based, pine scrub hillside and features views of the South China Sea from 16 of its 18 holes. Centreline hazards feature throughout the wide fairways. The design incorporate the site’s native sand expanses, while width off the tee has also been ensured to help players negotiate the region’s frequent strong winds. The tees feature a mini-fairway design, rather than traditional individual tee complexes.

Return to the hotel afterward for rest.

Day 5: Departure (B)

Enjoy a relaxing morning at the resort. You can explore the luxurious facilities or walk along the pristine beach.

Check out at noon and transfer back to the airport for you departure flight.
