Marina Bay Golf Course opened in November 2006 as the first fully public course in Singapore and one of only a handful of true links courses in Asia. The course is also the first to introduce the only par-6 hole on the island. Since then Marina Bay has garnered many prestigious awards including top three for the coveted categories of ‘Best Course in Singapore’, ‘Best Value for Money Experience’ and ‘Best Public Golf Course in Asia Pacific’ at the annual Asian Golf Awards.

The Serapong Course was awarded the “Number 1 Championship Golf course in Asia” by Asian Golf Monthly in 2007 and “Best Golf Course in Singapore” by Golf Digest in 2009, further cementing its position as one of the top courses in the country and the region

1 Day 1: Singapore arrival

On arrival in Changi International Airport, you are welcomed and picked up by our driver to your hotel at request of preferences and budgets

2 Day 2: Play golf at Marina Bay Golf Course (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, you are picked up to enjoy a game of golf at Marina Bay Golf Course

The 18-hole 7,101-yard par-72 course was designed by South African Phil Jacobs, who was responsible for the design of The Links at Fancourt in South Africa and Ria Bintan in Indonesia. Marina Bay Golf Course is unique in that it makes excellent use of the 87 deep British Isles-styled pot bunkers found scattered throughout the course.

3 Day 3: Full day sightseeing tour (B)

Try a city trip through old Singapore, discovering the charms of Little India and Hindu temples en route, or experience a trishaw journey to Clarke Quay, Singapore’s riverside nightlife hotspot. Or perhaps you’d like to escape modernity for a day with a trip to Old Malaya, or a leisurely cable-car ride to Sentosa Island? Whatever you choose, all your travel arrangements are taken care of — just bring a camera along.

4 Day 4: Play golf at Sentosa Golf Club, Serapong Course - Departure (B)

After breakfast at hotel, you are are picked up to enjoy a game of golf at Sentosa Golf Club, Serapong Course

Designed by world-renowned golf course designer Ronald Fream, The Serapong Course was opened in 1982 and measures 6,493 meters from the championship tee. A challenging par-72, it is one of the top five championship courses in Asia and home of the prestigious Barclays Singapore Open

After the game, depending on your flight schedule you will be dropped at the airport for your ongoing flight

Short but Efficient

Booked a 4-day golf trip to Singapore through Ms. Huong at GolfLux. Singapore is already an incredibly organized city, but having Huong handle the logistics meant we never waited a single minute for a driver or a tee time. The courses were in pristine shape and played surprisingly tough. My only real regret is the timeline—four days went by way too fast, and I wish I’d tacked on an extra day just to track down more local food spots. Still, if you want a trip where you just show up and swing the clubs without worrying about the details, definitely let Ms. Huong and the GolfLux team set it up.

Fantastic Golf Getaway in Singapore!

If you want to play Sentosa without the logistical nightmare, definitely reach out to Ms. Huong at GolfLux. We booked a 4-day trip through her and she handled absolutely everything. The courses were flawless, but the real benefit of this trip was the total lack of stress. We never had to chase down a driver or worry about our tee times. We just woke up, grabbed our clubs, and played. The schedule even left us with enough energy to hit the city for drinks every night. Worth every penny to have someone else handle the details.
