Iloilo Golf & Country Club

RGCF+JCH, Santa Barbara, 5002 Iloilo, Philippines

Iloilo Golf & Country Club was built in 1907 by Irish ex-pats and was formerly known as the Santa Barbara Golf Course. It was first used for English and Scottish people and did not open to Filipinos until the 1920s. The name Iloilo Golf & Country Club was officially given to this course in 1947.

It was the first golf club in the Philippines and is recognized as one of the most distinguished golf courses in the world. Thanks to the age, Iloilo Golf & Country Club has endured many historical changes of the country. There is a museum of golf memorabilia and archives within the ground. So, don’t worry if you come here with a family member or friend who doesn’t golf. Iloilo Golf & Country Club also has a modern clubhouse to accommodate members and guests.

Playing golf at Iloilo Golf & Country Club is a worth-trying experience. Hardwood trees, water hazards, tall hills, and rolling terrains spread throughout the fairways. It is really a challenge that is not for those who are weak at heart. Each hole of this course is different from others. The ninth is the most demanding one because water hazards and trees almost block the sight from tee to the green. It actually dares to play and will be the signature of your golf tournament.

Iloilo Golf & Country Club does not open to the public. To have playing access, you must be accompanied by a member. Another convenient way is to book through GolfLux. Contact us for tee time check if you are interested.
