Padang Golf Cilangkap is within the TNI Headquarters area, on the outskirts of East Jakarta. The course designed by Tom & team consists of 18 holes with 72 par and is 5,170 meters from the blue tees. Opened in 2002, Padang Golf Cilangkap operates every day from Monday to Sunday from 06:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.
Cilangkap Golf Course is a standard quality course. The fairways are lined with well-manicured elephant grass with slow greens. This course has a flat contour with lots of large trees which makes the air cooler but also challenges your hitting accuracy skills because there are many dogleg fairways on this course. Accuracy is also a major concern so that the ball does not go in and out of the woods.
Walking is an option at Padang Golf Cilangkap where the trees can provide shelter for golfers. The 4 par 3 hole with a handicap index of 12 and a distance of 120 meters is the signature hole at Padang Golf Cilangkap. The green, which extends upwards to the back, can be difficult for beginner golfers because there is a pond across the front of the green and trees on the left and right. Meanwhile, the bunker on the left side of the green is another obstacle in the way. Shoot directly towards the left green to avoid hitting a branch or let the ball fall before the green to play safer on this hole.
